Maxine has been a paediatric physiotherapist since 2000 with a passion in promoting a child’s physical well-being and function through a family centred approach. Maxine specialises in many areas of paediatrics including neurological conditions, developmental delay, orthopaedics, torticollis and plagiocephaly. She has been a lead therapist in Western Australia, United Kingdom and France for children needing consultancy advice in a hospital clinical setting, for provision of rehabilitation and equipment prescription at home, school and in the community.

She also has an interest in integrating research evidence into clinical practice to achieve treatment outcomes which are meaningful to the child and family in a functional setting.
Maxine currently holds a senior position at Perth Children’s Hospital in early intervention as well as undergoing research in optimising management of children with cerebral palsy.
