Dr RAVISHA SRINIVAS JOIS
Ravisha Srinivas Jois is an experienced neonatologist and a developmental paediatrician affiliated with Curtin, Edith Cowan and University of Western Australia. Ravisha is the head of neonatology at Joondalup Health Campus and has worked at various hospitals across Perth.
Ravisha is a strong advocate for early intervention in improving neurodevelopmental outcomes and focuses on early identification of clinical conditions. He has the expertise to carrperforms y out various aspects of developmental assessments including evaluation of Autism, assessments for developmental delay, speech delay, ADHD, autism, foetal alcohol spectrum disorder and many other neuro developmental conditions. Ravisha performs Prechtl’s general movement assessment of infants for early diagnosis of cerebral palsy- a ground breaking technique in the follow up of preterm and term infants. . Ravisha is also able to perform Griffiths III assessment as a part of developmental assessment and eligibility for language development centres.
Ravish is a keen researcher, an epidemiologist and has published peer reviewed research in class I journals including JAMA Pediatrics, Journal of Pediatrics, PLOS one, and the BMJ group. Ravisha is a part of national and international collaboration that researches on improving neurodevelopmental outcomes in neonates. Ravisha has published extensively on outcomes of infants born at various gestational ages.

Ravisha current projects include probiotics and prebiotics in pregnancy, infants and in autism.
Ravisha is interested in the developmental outcomes of preterm and term infants and has published extensively on late outcomes at various gestational ages.
Ravisha is a researcher at ORIGINS a new long term cohort study and collaborates locally with telethon kids institute, nationally and internationally.
Ravisha is interested is seeing all aspects of neonatology including premature infants, their ongoing developmental assesments until school age and all aspects of general and developmental pediatricspaediatrics.
Ravisha prefers to see children under the age of 6 years for developmental assessments and autism and is able follow them up for the rest of school age.
